Multi ID, Polygamy ID, Multiple User Yahoo Messenger

If you ever faced user chat or people who can join in one of chat room of yahoo messenger with 2 or 3 or more ID, and in fact, they also can type with all of those ID or username, you had been seeing the person who use Multi ID. Multi ID is a kind of activity that use 2 or more ID in Yahoo Messenger or others messenger service at once. That Means Multi ID or Multiple ID will makes the user can join yahoo messenger with multiple ID that they had. Of course, they can join chat room of yahoo messenger with all of their ID that been log in. They can join in one chat room with 3 ID, 4 ID or even more. It’s unlimited!

For the ability of joining yahoo messenger with 2 or more ID like that, sometimes Multi ID can be called as Polygamy ID or Polygamy User.

Why Should use Multi ID?

Polygamy ID aims for  having fun or even for protection of boot attack. If you are in chat room using Multi ID you can make the chat room more “party” then before, especially when you talk with two or more ID in there. The chat room will not silent like a grave yard and you can make others chat user see that the room have a lot of joy, even actually, that all the conversations was taken and created by yourself. For security reason, I will discuss it later in my others article.

How to Create Polygamy ID?

As long as We understood and knew, there are two ways to make or create multiple ID: manually and use application Multi ID software patch. Create Multiple User manually, you may need to make a little change on the register Editor windows under yahoo messenger register folder, but if you use a software, all you have to do just run the software instantly. With Multi ID software, you only take a second to patch the Yahoo Messenger.

Create Multi ID Manually

First Just open register windows editor through Start >> Run >> regedit (type and press enter). Then open the registry in this location

HKey_Current_User\ Software \Yahoo\Pager\Test

You will see default registy entry. Now just add another Dword value by right click on the windows regitry editor than chose New then Dword Value. Then rename the New Value #1 to plural. Remember You have to change the New Value #1 to plural or you will face that the Multi ID not work. Double clicks the plural and edit the Dword value hexadecimal to value data 20, or right click on plural and click modify. After you done with this steps, now you are ready to use Multi ID of yahoo Messenger. Click on the shortcut icon of yahoo messenger as many as you want to open Yahoo Messenger.

This steps can also be simplify by creating register file. Open notepad and copy paste the code below:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\Pager\Test]
“plural”=dword:00000020

Then save the notepad file into multiid.reg (name it whatever you want, but remember the extension must be .reg). Double click the files and instantly, the register of Multi ID done in a second. You ready to used Multi ID.

Actually, Multi ID is like a Multiple Yahoo Messenger that open at once. You need to have  two or more Yahoo Main account to use Multiple ID. Remember need a number of main ID not Alias ID. For Chat Client such as Yahaven, YmLite, YahElite and also Yazak, there are no need to patch the chat client software because they attach the ability to open multiple of “the same” chat client.
